POST-PONED – Blacksmithing & Artist Retreat – Kilburnie Homestead

Built in 1883 by the Campbell family, Kilburnie Homestead is the birthplace of local artist Ruby Campbell. Nowadays, Kilburnie Homestead is an operational cattle station with added history, art & music displays and open days…..and perhaps a ghost or two!!
15th – 16th August – Join us for a full weekend of Art & Craft Workshops, Blacksmithing demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, Camp Oven Dampers and history at the Homestead. Glamping provided by Pitch’n Tents or BYO Camping.
From 9am on the 15th the Artists Retreat will kick off. Overnight glamping is available on a bookings basis.
From 11am – 5pm on the 16th there will be blacksmithing displays (Guest Blacksmith – Noel Giles), billy-tea and damper will be available. Buggy rides, live music and kids activities.
All early bird bookings go into the draw to win an accommodation upgrade & Lian Meaney print!
Workshops include: drawing and inkbrush, floral wreaths, blacksmithing, yoga, children’s art and silversmithing.
