Moura Muddy Water Classic Fishing Competition

Fishing enthusiasts are in luck, as the Moura Muddy Water Fishing Classic is back on this Easter (3rd and 4th April) at Apex Park on the beautiful Dawson River. Enter the competition or enjoy watching the action! Prizes available, including the chance to win $1,000 by catching the tagged Saratoga!
Dave ‘Hodgey’ Hodge will be at the competition this year, so make sure you say g’day!
Usually, more than 440 hopeful contenders begin to arrive the day before to get their nominations in. With battle lines drawn at 6am the next morning, the first weigh-in starts at 7am. This competition is all about family fun with juniors making up more than half of the number of seniors in the game! Excellent camping facilities are available at Apex Park with powered and unpowered sites.
Established back in 2003, the Fishing Classic has released more than 400,000 Barra and Yellow Belly fingerlings (in the main) to restock river supplies.
