For the 10th year running, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Big Lift volunteers are preparing for the for the 2021 Mid-Year Road Trip! They will be visiting the communities of Cherbourg, Eidsvold, Theodore, Taroom, and Dalby to volunteer, learn and create unforgettable memories along the way.

The core foundations of QUT Big Lift are:
– Engagement with regional communities;
– Needs-based volunteering;
– Fostering student development; and
– Respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Banana Shire, home of the Sandstone Wonders, is thrilled to be hosting the QUT Big Lift volunteers from 6th to 8th July at the Theodore Showgrounds.
