1. Moura Water Tower mural - painted by renowned artists LEAN and The Zookeeper, located on the Dawson Highway near Gillespie Street.

2. Australia Post mural - featuring a pretty lorikeet and callistemon, Banana Shire's floral emblem located on the Dawson Highway.

3. Apex Park mural - showcasing a fresh water catch of Saratoga - on the banks of the Dawson River.

About 31km by road north-west of Taroom, Lake Murphy is a perched lake that fills only when nearby Robinson Creek overflows. When full, it provides a seasonal refuge for water birds.

Things to do at Lake Murphy -
⚫ Camp at the shaded, grassy campsites and watch the sun set over the lake.
⚫ See ducks and large wading birds revelling in the shallows.
⚫ Look for koala's in the surrounding forest of red gums.
⚫ Walk the Lake Murphy Circuit.
