The Banana Community is proud to host the 2021 Banana Shire Australia Day Celebrations! Come along to Banana Sports & Recreation Grounds (beside racecourse) on Tuesday 26 January 2021 for family activities, a cricket competition and official awards.

Gates open at 10am, then the 7-a-side cricket competition starts at 11am (adult team registrations close 18 January, but kids can register on the day).

Official Australia Day awards and citizenship ceremony commence at 3pm.

On Australia Day let’s come together as a nation to celebrate what’s great about Australia and being Australian.
