‘Women’s Work’ and other Myths, plays with the historical term, ‘women’s work’ used to downplay the importance of the female contribution to labour or feminine art forms. This exhibition flips this history by taking, ‘feminine art’ directly from the family homes of Central Queensland residents and elevating it through public display.

‘Women’s Work’ and Other Myths recognises quiet stories of endurance and success that are known by some, but not often flaunted. This exhibition coincides with the Women of the World (W.O.W) Festival, Biloela.
